My little band of misfits was doing Dragon Soul last night and we needed one more dps to help us burn down Ultraxion. So we ask my sister's boyfriend. He brings his weasel of a brother along with him. And we murder Ultraxion like no body's business. Awesome. On we go to Deathwing's Spine. Yeah, that fight.
They screw up and keep killing shit they shouldn't. Much like when I helped them get their Ulduar achievements that had to take multiple lock-outs because of arrogance and not listening to directions. Somehow my possible brother-in-law is heroic geared. I have no idea how as he follows directions poorly. Then again...
He's a hunter.
So I get angry and say "I thought you guys were raiders, pay attention," (mind you it was a lot more hateful in actuality) because they keep killing the damn shit before it can get 9 stacks. I left without finishing because that was frustrating.

Are you freaking kidding me? Your quest item you can get doing LFR raids is harder to get than my RBG wins?
It was also tossed about that we couldn't defeat the spine fight because I was healing in PVP gear. Um... I'm 550 pvp gear, I am still far more geared than the level 85s that did this raid before and probably far more skilled of a healer than the ones who healed this scripted fight.
I DO have to combat player intelligence compared to... I dunno... timed damage and events in raids?
Not to knock raid healers, I know you guys are damn good, but there is a huge difference in healing a scripted raid fight and healing in PVP. I raided for years, and did progression, but I never had to work so hard to heal someone as I do in pvp.
Point aside, they blamed the failures on me for having pvp gear and not being omg-heroic geared... for old content. Instead of... not following mechanics.
So... screw those guys. I hope they never ask for pvp carries. Not gonna happen.
